B.  TREATMENT 

The Treatment product is designed to be used on erthematous, pimples and papules associated with acute acne. The special hepes linoliate acts to reduce redness while the action of the “Canadian Willowbark” , “Paraguary Tea” helps to shrink the size of these red bumps. Phenoxyethanol is a powerful, yet gentle germicide, that helps to reduce the bacteria in these lesions. “Allantoin” acts as anti-inflammatory agents and as healing agent. “Iron Oxide” and “Titanium Dioxide” serve to protect the skin from the damage of ultraviolet light during the skin renewal process and reduce the reflection from the red bumps making them less visible, or even like the normal skin.  

C.  DAY CREAM

D.  NIGHT CREAM 

The Night Cream contains a series of active ingredients that work synergistically to combat the various causes of acne. “Evening primrose Oil” and “Chase Tree Berry Extract” act to suppress the production of sebum, or oil from the sebaceous gland, the major target of acne therapy. Sebum is acted upon by bacterial lipase to produce free fatty acids which are quite irritating to the skin. “Oregon Grape Root Extract” and MOPC esters (oligomeric proanthocyanidins) work to inhibit this action of lipase by blocking the enzyme. The major part of acne pathology is the constant accumulation of keratin cells in the infundibulum of the hair follicle. These cells block the flow of sebum and dead cells to the surface and ultimately result in the formation of a “blackhead” or comedo, or papules which must be dealt with in the first place. “Meadowsweet”, “Salicylic Acid”, and “Witch Hazel” combine to loosen these cells by inducing an exfoliation action. At the same time, “Salicylic Acid” and “Phenoxyethanol” work together to provide a germicidal action to kill bacteria in the acne lesions. To soothe the skin and reduce the inflammatory action, “Yarrow” and “Linden Extract” are used along with “Witch Hazel”.
