Cu-Well is a product formulated specifically for joint pain and discomfort of the skin. While the active ingredient is menthol, incorporated in a special cream base, it is the complete formulation that works synergistically to achieve its remarkable results of Cu-Well. Cu-Well is designed to relieve pain quickly and to reduce itching and erythema. The following studies and observations have confirmed these actions of Cu-Well.

1. Irritation Prevention study. Sodium Lauryl sulfate at 0.7% was applied under occlusion to the volar forearms of five subjects. One site was treated with Cu-Well. While a second site was treated with a bland cream and a third site was left untreated as a control. After 24 hours, the Cu-Well-treated site showed no irritation, while the bland cream-treated site and the untreated side showed marked erythema.

2. Fever blisters (three cases) using Cu-Well. Immediate relief with marked improvement in the lesion in three days.

3. Sunburn (six cases) using Cu-Well. Immediate relief with when applied three hours after signs and symptoms appeared. Rapid resolution of erythema and less peeling were reported.

4. Pain due to sports trauma (eight cases) treated with Cu-Well. Most users experiences pain relief in less than three minutes. Cu-Well also resolves ecchymosis rapidly.

5. Arthritic pain (More than fifty cases) using Cu-Well. In 75% of cases, relief was noticed in less than three minutes in acute or subacute cases. Chronic cases responded, but not as dramatically as the acute cases. Most cases were rheumatoid arthritis.

6. Burns (at least ten cases) using Cu-Well. Both second and third degree burns were treated at a burn center on the West Coast. Pain was stopped and the healing rate increased.

7. Itching (seven subjects, children and adults). Cu-Well was used to treat poison ivy, insect bites and nonspecific itching. Immediate relief.
